Job Description

Operates a dump truck and safely delivers construction materials—including asphalt, borrow material, excavation, and stone base—to various projects. The driver may also handle other truck types and perform related duties.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Operate a dump truck, performing pre‑trip inspections.
Transport and deliver construction materials to projects in a timely manner.
May perform additional duties or operate other truck types.
Maintain adequate reading and writing skills for required paperwork.

Minimum Qualifications & Training

One year of experience (training provided for the right candidate).
CDL ClassB license.
Valid medical card.
Must be at least 19years old.
Ability to follow precise instructions and strict safety rules.
Reliable, trustworthy, team‑player mindset.
Good attendance and safety record.

Tasks Essential to Job Functions

Stand and walk while operating the truck.
Drive for long periods, staying alert and defensive.
Climb steps to perform tasks on the truck.
Work long periods in elevated temperatures and weather conditions.
Operate equipment at recommended speeds and operation peaks.
Be productive during each shift and meet set goals.
Work safely in traffic, backing, and maneuvering in congested areas.
Clean debris and materials (dirt, stone, asphalt) from the tailgate and truck sides.
Climb in and out of the truck multiple times a day for cleaning or loosening hardened materials.
Perform accurate pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, including hood repositioning.
Squat and bend as needed, and use handholds and steps with three points of contact for safety.
