Comfort Technologies is seeking a Commercial Ductwork Foreman to lead our installation crews on commercial HVAC projects across the DFW Metroplex. You will read drawings, plan layouts, and supervise a crew to keep projects safe, on schedule, and built to spec.

Formación

• 7+ years of commercial ductwork/sheet metal installation experience
• 2+ years leading crews as foreman or lead installer
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
• Strong knowledge of duct layout, hanging, sealing, and insulation practices

Responsabilidades

• Lead, schedule, and supervise ductwork installation crews on commercial job sites
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and shop drawings
• Lay out, install, and modify rectangular, round, spiral, and flex duct systems
• Install diffusers, grilles, registers, dampers, fire/smoke dampers, VAVs, and fan powered boxes
• Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to keep projects on schedule
• Order and track materials and confirm deliveries match job needs
• Make field measurements and communicate fabrication needs to the shop
• Make sure installations meet code, project specs, and quality standards
• Train and mentor apprentices and installers
• Enforce jobsite safety, including OSHA rules, lift safety, and PPE
• Complete daily reports, timesheets, and job documentation

Lead Ductwork Installation for a Growing Commercial HVAC Team

Comfort Technologies is looking for an experienced Commercial Ductwork Foreman to lead our installation crews on commercial HVAC projects throughout the DFW Metroplex. We need a hands-on leader with deep experience installing commercial duct systems, reading mechanical drawings, and running a crew that keeps jobs safe, on schedule, and done right the first time.

• New construction and tenant finish-out
• Equipment retrofit and replacement projects
• RTU replacements and duct modifications
• Office, retail, industrial, healthcare, and data center facilities

Service Area

Projects Are Located Throughout The DFW Metroplex, Including

• Arlington
• Fort Worth
• Dallas
• Weatherford
• Frisco / McKinney
• Waxahachie / Cleburne
• Rockwall

Qualifications

Required

• 7+ years of commercial ductwork/sheet metal installation experience
• 2+ years leading crews as a foreman or lead installer
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
• Strong knowledge of duct layout, hanging, sealing, and insulation practices
• Experience working with scissor lifts, boom lifts, and ladders at heights
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied jobsite conditions

Preferred

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
• Aerial/scissor lift certification
• Experience with SMACNA standards
• Experience on large commercial or data center projects
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Schedule

• Typical hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday-Friday
• Overtime available based on project needs
• Occasional early starts, weekends, or after-hours work to meet project deadlines
