Job summary

Lex Air Conditioning, Heating, Plumbing, and Electrical in the Dallas–Fort Worth area seeks an HVAC Duct Install Apprentice to assist the lead installer on residential duct projects. You will gather parts, prepare tools, and follow safety standards while delivering quality service.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years in general construction, a valid driver's license, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years in a general construction field.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead installer with residential duct work by gathering components, parts, and tools and following safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and complete projects with attention to detail and educate customers on new systems.
• Perform regular maintenance and repairs and offer recommendations for ongoing maintenance.
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing client concerns professionally.
• Follow all safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.
• Keep accurate service records and document parts used and recommendations.
