We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Duct Cleaner to join our residential HVAC service team. This role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing residential ductwork, dryer vents, and HVAC components to improve indoor air quality, system performance, and customer comfort. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and customer service driven.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform residential air duct and dryer vent cleaning using company-provided equipment
- Clean HVAC components including registers, grilles, coils, blowers, and filters
- Inspect residential ductwork for leaks, blockages, excessive debris, or mold concerns
- Communicate findings and recommended services to homeowners in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate service documentation, including before/after photos
- Follow all safety protocols related to ladders, confined spaces, and equipment operation
- Load, unload, and maintain tools and cleaning supplies
- Protect customer property with drop cloths, shoe covers, and proper cleanup
- Assist with basic HVAC maintenance tasks when needed
- Take pride in cleanliness and delivering high-quality results
Qualifications
- Prior duct cleaning or HVAC experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn HVAC and IAQ principles
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and tight spaces
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Comfortable using handheld tools, vacuums, and cleaning equipment
