Next Level Solutions in Springfield, MO is seeking a Duck Creek Developer II – Billing to join our Duck Technology Development Team. You will develop and support custom applications, focusing on Billing configuration, Author, Express, Server, and integrations while collaborating with analysts, architects, and project leadership.

You will mentor junior members, conduct code reviews, and advance toward a Senior Developer role, contributing to client solutions and expanding Duck Creek expertise

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industry experience or equivalent training.
• At least 3 years of Duck Creek Billing experience with development work.
• Proficient in Duck Creek Billing Product including modules.
• Strong knowledge of ManuScript inheritance and Duck Creek components.
• Hands-on with Duck Creek Author, Express, Server, User Admin, Billing.
• Experience with SQL Server and Billing-related SQL queries.
• Experience with SOAP/REST APIs and Duck Creek API.
• Experience with source control and JIRA/ADO.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to understand needs and deliver high-quality work.
• Develop customized Duck Creek Billing solutions through ManuScript configuration and integrations.
• Apply knowledge of Duck Creek Billing Product modules and components.
• Develop and optimize SQL-based queries to support billing development.
• Resolve complex customer issues and collaborate with senior developers.
• Assist with planning and designing solutions aligned with strategies.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
• Follow coding standards and Agile practices.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Utilize tools including AI to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge.
