Job summary

Great American Insurance Group seeks an Application Engineering Consultant to design, develop, test, and deploy Duck Creek solutions that support underwriting, rating, and policy administration. You will work hands-on with Manuscripts and build integrations with enterprise systems in a hybrid Cincinnati environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of software or application development experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years hands-on Duck Creek experience in development and configuration.
• Strong experience with application integration, APIs, and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Duck Creek enhancements for underwriting, rating, policy administration, and workflows.
• Configure and customize Duck Creek Manuscripts with business rules and rating logic.
• Develop integrations between Duck Creek and enterprise systems and data pipelines.
• Lead technical design discussions and mentor team members.
• Apply AI capabilities to improve underwriting workflows and platform capabilities.
