Job summary

SICK AG offers a 3-year dual study programme in Mechatronics starting on 01.09.2027 at our Donaueschingen location in cooperation with the Karlsruhe Cooperative State University.

You will gain diverse insights across Production, R&D and Application Development, working at the interface of mechanical/electrical engineering, automation and IT. The apprenticeship includes hands-on project work, CAD design with EPLAN and SolidWorks, and programming in C/C++.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in mechanics, electronics and computer science.
• Excellent maths and physics skills.
• Ability to work in a team and take responsibility.
• German language skills at C1 level.

Responsibilities

• Participate in product and equipment development for production.
• Use CAD and simulation tools in design and testing of mechatronic systems.
• Collaborate across Production, R&D and Application Development.
• Support project activities with data analysis and documentation.
