You will gain diverse insights across IT, Product Management, and Development, and work on data handling, BI, information systems, and big data architectures, with exposure to SAP, MS Office, and programming languages like Java, C++, Python, and web tech.

Qualifications

• A-levels or comparable entrance qualification (plus delta exam) or equivalent training.
• Strong interest in computer science, maths and business management topics.
• Prev. knowledge of CS and business is advantageous.
• Ability to analyze processes and data.
• Enjoy data preparation and analyses, interdisciplinary topics.

Responsibilities

• Work includes data handling, transforming and analysing data to drive digital transformation.
• Involves determining requirements for software solutions and developing deployment concepts.
• Assist with software architectures, networked information systems and maintenance of standard software.
• Learn object-oriented programming languages (e.g. Java, C++) and scripting languages (e.g. Python, Lua).
• Familiarize with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Programme content covers AI, ML, big data, data management and digital thinking.

Dual study programme 2027: Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (B.Sc)* – 3 year dual study programme starting 1 September 2027 at our Waldkirch site in cooperation with the Lörrach Cooperative State University.

What you can expect

• Diverse insights and collaboration in various departments, including IT, Product Management and Development
• Field of activity in an interface function in the company with a view to handling, transforming and analysing data in order to drive digital transformation from a technical perspective
• Assignments in various areas such as business intelligence, information systems, data management and big data analyses and architectures
• Work includes determining the requirements for software solutions, developing concepts for software deployments and architectures as well as networked communication and information systems, support of information systems, which includes the selection and installation as well as maintenance, customisation and support of standard software.
• In addition to everyday tools such as MS Office programmes and SAP, you will learn object‑oriented programming languages (e.g. Java and C++) , scripting languages (e.g. Python, Lua) and the basics of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) as required

What you need

• A-levels, subject‑restricted university entrance qualification, university of applied sciences entrance qualification (plus passing the delta exam at the DHBW) or comparable training
• Strong interest in computer science, maths and business management topics
• Previous knowledge of computer science and business is an advantage
• Understanding of processes and the ability to analyse facts
• Enjoy data preparation and analyses and interdisciplinary topics
• Customer‑orientated way of working
• Strong ability to work in a team
• Good command of English and openness to an international environment
