Dual study programme 2027: Computer Science - Computer Science (B.Sc.). The programme starts on 01.09.2027 at the Waldkirch site in cooperation with Karlsruhe Cooperative State University.

What you can expect

Diverse insights and collaboration in various departments, including Information Technology and Research & Development
Design and implementation of customised software solutions
Assignments related to professional software development for client and server applications
Work on the development of complex software systems, network setup and administration, and database design and administration
Use of tools such as database systems and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) and creation of graphical user interfaces and web-based applications
Course content includes software engineering, databases, data structures, business administration, maths and scientific work
In-depth topics: project management, web engineering, network and communication technology, databases, practical computer science, consulting, knowledge-based and interactive systems

What you need

A-levels or equivalent entrance qualification for universities or a comparable training (plus passed Delta exam at the DHBW)
Strong interest in developing apps and software applications
Initial programming experience is an advantage
Good performance in technical subjects (computer science, maths, English)
