Job summary

Southeast Steel Systems is seeking a Director of Manufacturing to lead two steel plants in Adel, GA and Tampa, FL. This role is hands-on and transformation-focused, aimed at doubling throughput and cutting lead times in half.

You will own safety, quality management, CAPA, and lean deployment, with a focus on staffing, shift launches, and cross-site alignment to deliver the growth plan.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience (multi-site preferred).
• Deep knowledge of steel fabrication and metal building systems.
• Hands-on experience implementing lean tools and daily management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead two-site operations across Adel, GA and Tampa, FL; drive safety, quality, throughput and lead-time improvements.
• Establish ISO-style reviews and CAPA processes; implement 5S/6S and OSHA compliance.
• Develop staffing plans, shift leadership, and scheduling to launch second shifts in both sites.
