Job summary

Peak Living is seeking a qualified Community Manager with tax credit experience to join our team. The Community Manager will support all aspects of community operations under the Regional Manager and supervise residents and staff to ensure leasing standards and customer service are upheld.

Responsibilities include directing marketing, lease administration, rent collection, and reporting. The role requires LIHTC knowledge and excellent English communication in a fast-growing national property

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience as an onsite Community Manager or Assistant Community Manager in multi-family housing, hospitality, or similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all community associates.
• Ensure property follows all tax credit requirements.
• Support and participate in fulfilling customer service and leasing standards.
• Respond to resident requests promptly and courteously and resolve issues.
• Direct all marketing efforts.
• Assist in preparing paperwork for new and renewal leases.
• Determine renewal rates and deliver renewal letters to secure renewals.
• Recommend rental rate adjustments or concessions to increase activity.
• Review resident files and accounting records for unpaid balances and collect delinquencies.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports, delinquency updates, and move-in/out inspections.
• Organize resident activities and maintain loyalty/retention programs.
• Identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and profitability.
• Research competition quarterly to align rates and concessions with market.

Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation

Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) designation
