Job summary

Summit Property Management is hiring a Community Manager in Spring, Texas (Houston). The role oversees staffing, leasing, resident relations, marketing and maintenance to maximize income while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations.

Experience with Bluemoon and OneSite is preferred, with a focus on budgeting, vendor relations, and team development. The candidate will manage on-site staff and ensure move-ins are smooth.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of multifamily Property Manager experience.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college-level education strongly preferred.
• Computer proficiency, including MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• OneSite and Bluemoon experience preferred.
• Industry designations strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages staffing, leasing, resident relations, marketing, maintenance, budgeting, accounts receivable/payable, vendor relations, recruiting, training, and team development.
• Monitor and manage community rental rates to maximize income.
• Address resident complaints, concerns, and requests.
• Maintain the community appearance and ensure maintenance is completed.
• Implement marketing initiatives as prescribed by Marketing Department.
• Process applications, prepare leases, and complete paperwork via Bluemoon.
• Prepare apartment for move-ins and orient new residents.
• Control expenses within the annual budget and ensure timely deposits and payments.
• Set work schedules for on-site staff and lead by example.
