Job summary

Colville Tribal Health Care Authority seeks a Lab Supervisor to lead two clinic laboratory services. This working role provides leadership, oversight, and day-to-day management of testing operations across Nespelem Health Center and the Colville Tribal Health Care Authority clinics, ensuring safe, accurate, efficient, and timely patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in biology, chemistry, or another health science field.
• Two years of experience performing high-complexity testing.
• Supervisor experience is required.
• Demonstrated experience with laboratory information systems, electronic health records, or comparable healthcare technology.
• Ability to travel between clinic locations and support supervisory coverage at both sites.
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License and insurance eligibility.
• Ability to obtain equipment certification and privacy training.
• Knowledge of laboratory principles, QA, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, oversight, and day-to-day management of laboratory services and personnel across two clinic locations.
• Establish standardized laboratory practices and oversee staffing, workflow, quality control, and documentation.
• Ensure testing services support timely, high-quality patient care and report results to providers promptly.
• Supervise, coach, train, and evaluate staff while maintaining professionalism and accountability.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and ensure proper records and testing information accessibility.
