Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a contract position near Cedar, MN, to support two school settings. You will design individualized instruction and collaborate with families, staff, and district personnel to foster student growth and inclusion.

The role requires Minnesota certification or eligibility for reciprocity, experience with IEPs, and the ability to adapt lessons for diverse learning needs. Compensation ranges from $31.78 to $51.78 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification for Minnesota (or eligibility for quick certification/reciprocity).
• Proven experience working with IEPs and delivering specialized instruction.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for engaging families, colleagues, and support staff.
• Ability to adapt lesson plans to accommodate various disabilities and learning styles.
• Compassion, patience, and a deep passion for special education.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement individualized educational plans for students with special needs.
• Monitor student progress, set goals, and report on achievements.
• Collaborate with general education staff to support inclusive classroom strategies.
• Conduct assessments and maintain up-to-date documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Engage families and caregivers in student progress and planning.
