Job summary

St. Mary’s Health Care System in Lavonia, GA, seeks a CT/Radiology Tech for a full-time 2nd shift position. The role involves radiographic and CT procedures under radiologist supervision, with opportunities to assist in biopsies and advanced imaging.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible candidates who meet CT experience requirements. Requirements include ARRT CT registration or eligibility, ARRT X-ray registration, and graduation from an AMA-approved radiographic technology program.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT Registered or eligible to sit.
• ARRT X-ray registered.
• Graduate of AMA-Approved radiographic technology program.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic and CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
• Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.
• Perform routine CT scans on pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and trauma patients.
• Assist the radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies, drain tube placements, injections, and markings.
• Performing angiography studies of the brain, neck, and chest with 3D reformats

What you will do:

• Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic and CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.

What You Will Need

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: ARRT CT Registered or eligible to sit. ARRT xray registered.

• Experience: One year experience in hospital environment in CT required.
