Job summary

St Mary's Health Care System in Lavonia, GA, seeks a CT/Radiology Technologist for a full-time, second-shift role at Sacred Heart Hospital. The position combines radiography and CT procedures under radiologist supervision, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Position Summary

CT/ Radiology Tech Dual Role, Fulltime 2nd shift position with Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia, GA.

$10,000 Sign on Bonus (must have at least 1yr CT Tech experience to be eligible for the Sign on Bonus).

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic and CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.


• Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.


• Perform routine CT scans on pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and trauma patients.


• Assist the radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies, drain tube placements, injections, and markings.


• Performing angiography studies of the brain, neck, and chest with 3D reformats.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: ARRT CT Registered or eligible to sit. ARRT xray registered.


• Education: Graduate of formal Radiographic technology training in an AMA-Approved school.


• Experience: One year experience in hospital environment in CT required.
