Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a part-time Radiology Technician for Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia, GA. The PRN role offers rotating shifts, including nights, with supervision by a Radiologist for radiographic and CT work.

You will perform radiographic and CT studies for diverse patients, assist with biopsies, drain placements, injections, and markings, and contribute to angiography with 3D reformats.

Qualifications

• Registered ARRT or registry eligible if a recent Radiology program graduate.
• Graduate of AMA-Approved radiographic technology program.
• One year hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Radiologist, perform radiographic and CT procedures with minimal supervision.
• Perform a variety of procedures requiring independent judgment for radiographic diagnosis.
• Perform routine CT scans on pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and trauma patients.
• Assist radiologist in biopsies, drain placements, injections, and markings.
• Perform angiography studies of brain, neck, and chest with 3D reformats.

Employment Type: Part time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia, Georgia is looking for an experienced Radiology Tech to join their team in a PRN (various shifts) position. Must be available to work any shift, including nightshifts, when needed.

Position Summary: What you will do:

• Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic and CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
• Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.
• Perform routine CT scans on pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and trauma patients.
• Assist the radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies, drain tube placements, injections, and markings.
• Performing angiography studies of the brain, neck, and chest with 3D reformats

What you will need:

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: registered with ARRT (or registry eligible if a recent Radiology program graduate)
• Education: Graduate of formal Radiographic technology training in an AMA-Approved school.
• Experience: One year experience in hospital environment preferred
