Prime Group is seeking a Complex Director of Engineering to lead the engineering teams at two resort properties in Marathon, FL. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, capital projects, and energy performance to keep guests comfortable and the properties efficient.

You will oversee budgeting, scheduling around occupancy, and storm preparedness, while ensuring safety and code compliance across all systems. A strong background in hospitality engineering and team leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in hotel or resort engineering, with 3+ years leading a team.
• Hands-on knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, and kitchen systems.
• Capital project management experience, including budgets and contractor oversight.
• Knowledge of Florida code and life-safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team at two resorts, scheduling around occupancy and events.
• Run preventive maintenance that addresses root causes, not symptoms.
• Plan and deliver capital projects and renovations on schedule and budget.
• Lead hurricane preparedness and storm recovery at both resorts.
• Ensure inspections are up-to-date, safe, and efficient, with controlled utility costs.
