Job summary

Ben & Jerry's Franchise Group is seeking a Cross-Over Assistant Manager to support day-to-day operations at both Glastonbury and South Windsor scoop shops. This role thrives on variety, adapts quickly to different teams, and ensures consistency in standards, culture, and execution across two locations during our busy season and beyond.

You will split shifts, open/close, handle cash and safety, supervise staff, serve as manager-on-duty, and assist with scheduling, onboarding and inventory while

Qualifications

• 1+ years supervisory/shift-lead experience in food service, retail, or QSR.
• Reliable transportation to travel between two sites.
• Strong communication skills and adaptability across teams.
• Calm under pressure during high-volume shifts.

Responsibilities

• Split shifts/coverage between both locations based on need.
• Open/close shifts: cash handling, sanitation, safety.
• Supervise and coach team members at both shops.
• Serve as manager-on-duty; resolve customer/operational issues.
• Support scheduling, onboarding, and inventory across locations.
• Keep both GMs aligned and uphold brand standards.
