Job summary

US Water Services Corporation is seeking a Dual Licensed Water & Wastewater Operator to operate and maintain facilities across one or more plants. The role ensures systems function efficiently and comply with regulatory requirements.

The operator will monitor processes, perform routine maintenance, and conduct field tests to optimize performance, while adhering to safety standards and participating in on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.
• Experience with drinking water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Route system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain water and wastewater treatment systems and equipment.
• Monitor plant operations using flow meters, gauges, control panels, and PLC systems.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and take corrective action in accordance with procedures.
• Record operational data, observations, and conditions in daily logs.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Conduct field laboratory testing (chemical and physical) to support process control.
• Adjust chemical dosages to optimize treatment performance.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or process variances.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.
