Job summary

Peachtree Group is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to plan, organize, and oversee the housekeeping department in alignment with federal, state, and local standards while maintaining the highest level of guest care. You will staff, schedule, train, and develop hourly staff to ensure efficient operations and exceptional service.

The role includes managing daily activities, directing team members, hiring and disciplinary actions as needed, purchasing and maintaining supplies, and upholding OSHA

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and organizing housekeeping operations.
• Ability to staff, schedule, train, and develop hourly staff.
• Familiarity with OSHA and safety standards in housekeeping.
• Ability to prepare and manage annual housekeeping budget.

Responsibilities

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and developing of the overall operation of the housekeeping department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and guidelines along with assuring the highest degree of quality guest care are maintained at all times. Responsible for staffing, scheduling, training, and developing hourly staff.

• Manage the daily activities of the Housekeeping department


• Planning, organizing, and directing team members to ensure the highest degree of guest satisfaction.


• Supervises all housekeeping employees hires new employees as needed, discharges employees when necessary and take disciplinary actions when policies are not followed


• Purchase, re-order and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory


• Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards within the Housekeeping department.


• Prepare Annual Housekeeping Budget.
