Job summary

Beach Happy Cafe in Santa Rosa Beach is seeking energetic, reliable team members to join our growing crew. You will be cross-trained to support FOH and BOH operations, delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and teamwork.

As a New Hire Team Member, you will work in a fast-paced environment, greet guests, take orders, run the POS, and assist cooks during service. Flexible scheduling and room for growth are offered at Beach Happy Cafe.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
• Reliable, energetic, and team-oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns professionally.
• Operate POS system and handle transactions as needed.
• Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
• Follow all recipes, portioning, and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas.
• Wash dishes and maintain dish area as needed.
• Support cooks and kitchen staff during service.
• Follow all food safety and health regulations.
