Job summary

Virginia Peninsula Community College is seeking a Dual Enrollment Coordinator to manage and expand high school partnerships, coordinate course scheduling, and oversee DE processes. This role supports HB1184, Early College Scholars, and traditional dual enrollment in collaboration with partner schools and college staff.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the philosophy of student support services in relation to the total college program.
• Knowledge of college admission policies and procedures; general policies and procedures within enrollment services and student life, and the academic needs of college students.
• Knowledge of occupational/technical education.
• Knowledge of local and national education tests and testing protocol and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, administer, and evaluate dual enrollment programs with partnership school divisions and the high schools and centers.
• Plan and identify dual enrollment courses with faculty, Deans, and high school administrators; schedule and deliver courses and related services.
• Communicate DE procedures to instructors; set calendar dates; manage rosters and grade submissions.
• Process DE registrations each semester; initiate drop/add/withdrawal procedures for students.
• Develop dual enrollment contracts with school systems; provide billing information and class rosters to the Business Office.
• Assist with online applications and placement testing in partnership schools or at the college; update the DE website and annual calendar.
