Job summary

Acenda Integrated Health is seeking a Co-Occurring Specialist for the PACT program in New Jersey. You will provide individualized dual disorder services to enrollees, using evidence-based practices and a team-based approach to support recovery and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• Dual disorder specialist credentials required by ALcohol and Drug Counselor Licensing and Certification Act.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to exercise independent thinking and good judgment under all circumstances.
• Ability to analyze work, set goals, develop plans and utilize time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual co-occurring sessions through symptom assessment, management, and supportive counseling.
• Support medication delivery and collaborate with PACT team for long-term support.
• Assess concerns and monitor symptoms and side effects during ongoing contacts.
• Attend daily morning meetings to address program needs.
• Provide crisis assessment and intervention 24/7 as needed; on-call duties shared by PACT team.
• Complete reports and chart documentation accurately and timely.
• Meet obligations of the program and budget usage.
