Job summary

A mental health treatment facility is seeking a compassionate Therapist to deliver individual, group, and family therapy services to clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in a related field and be a registered intern. They should possess experience in behavioral health treatment, preferably in an outpatient or PHP/IOP setting. Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills are essential. This full-time position offers competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in a relevant field required.
• Registered intern status (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT track, or equivalent).
• Previous experience in behavioral health treatment is required.
• Outpatient or PHP/IOP experience preferred.
• Strong skills in group facilitation and individual counseling.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Provide crisis intervention and support.
• Collaborate with treatment team members.
• Communicate with families about client progress.
• Participate in case conferences and staff meetings.
