Job summary

Swissport International AG is seeking a Fuel Facility Operations Manager in the United States (Michigan) to lead the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of our fuel facility. You will oversee fuel scheduling, budgeting, quality audits, and staff planning, while partnering with the Station Manager and airline representatives to meet service standards.

The role emphasizes safety, inventory management, performance metrics, and continuous improvement in facility operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a focus on Facility Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of facility maintenance experience, preferably within the petroleum industry, including at least two years in a management role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operations adhere to safety and health policies, maintaining a safe work environment.
• Oversee compliance with FAA, TSA, IATA, ATA, U.S. Customs, and airport authority regulations.
• Manage staffing, attendance, and overtime to maintain efficiency and costs.
• Lead customer service and contract fulfillment, coordinating with clients and authorities.
