Launched in September 2026, Soulstice is focused on building a digitally native beauty brand with a strong foundation in product performance, customer experience, and long-term brand loyalty.
As we enter our next phase of growth, we're looking for a commercially minded DTC Growth & E-Commerce Manager to help build and scale our direct-to-consumer business.
The Opportunity
We're looking for someone who understands what makes a DTC business work, from customer acquisition and paid media to website conversion, retention, and lifecycle marketing.
This is a highly cross‑functional role for someone who is equally comfortable analyzing performance data, managing agency partners, overseeing technical website projects, and coordinating the creative workflows that fuel customer acquisition.
You'll serve as the internal point person for our DTC growth initiatives, working closely with external agencies, developers, consultants, and internal marketing partners to ensure our growth strategies translate into measurable business results.
This role is ideal for someone who has developed strong hands‑on expertise in performance marketing and e‑commerce and is ready to take broader ownership of a growing DTC business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Paid Media Strategy & Agency Management
- Serve as the primary internal partner to our paid media agency, overseeing performance, strategic priorities, reporting, and execution.
- Review paid media performance across Meta and other acquisition channels, evaluating key metrics including CAC, ROAS, MER, conversion rates, and customer acquisition trends.
- Partner with the agency to develop and refine acquisition strategies, creative testing roadmaps, budget recommendations, and optimization priorities.
- Challenge assumptions, identify opportunities, and ensure agency recommendations are supported by data and aligned with business objectives.
- Maintain a clear understanding of tracking, attribution, pixels, conversion events, and analytics infrastructure, coordinating technical troubleshooting as needed.
- Translate agency reporting into actionable insights and clear recommendations for internal leadership.
2. Paid Creative & UGC Workflow Management
- Own the operational workflow supporting a consistent pipeline of performance marketing creative.
- Partner with internal brand marketing, influencer marketing, and PR teams to coordinate UGC sourcing, creator deliverables, and paid creative production.
- Work with the paid media agency to understand creative performance, identify winning concepts, and translate insights into new creative briefs.
- Establish an organized creative testing and asset management process to support an ongoing cadence of new ad content.
4. E-Commerce Website & Conversion Optimization
- Serve as the primary internal point person for e‑commerce website performance and optimization.
- Manage relationships with our external development and conversion optimization partners.
- Own the website optimization roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on customer experience, conversion impact, and business needs.
- Coordinate website enhancements, landing page development, technical updates, and testing initiatives.
- Oversee website QA, launch readiness, and troubleshooting in partnership with internal and external teams.
- Monitor website performance and customer behavior to identify opportunities to improve conversion, average order value, and overall shopping experience.
- Maintain working knowledge of Shopify, GA4, GTM, and relevant e-commerce integrations to ensure data accuracy and operational effectiveness.
5. DTC Performance, Analytics & Business Growth
- Maintain a comprehensive view of DTC channel performance across acquisition, conversion, retention, and revenue.
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards and performance scorecards.
- Partner with Finance and leadership to evaluate customer acquisition economics, marketing efficiency, and contribution profitability.
- Identify trends, performance gaps, and growth opportunities, translating findings into actionable priorities.
- Support forecasting, promotional planning, and growth initiatives in collaboration with cross‑functional partners.
Qualifications
Required
- 5–7+ years of experience in DTC growth marketing, e‑commerce, performance marketing, or a related discipline.
- Experience working within a digitally native consumer brand, ideally beauty, skincare, haircare, wellness, or lifestyle.
- Strong understanding of paid social advertising, particularly Meta Ads, with prior hands‑on campaign management experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing external paid media agencies and evaluating their strategic and financial performance.
- Hands‑on experience with Klaviyo, including email campaigns, automation flows, segmentation, and performance reporting.
- Proficiency with Shopify and Google Analytics 4, with working knowledge of Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking.
- Experience managing e‑commerce development projects, website optimization initiatives, and external technical partners.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with DTC metrics, including CAC, ROAS, MER, AOV, LTV, and conversion rate.
- Excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the confidence to make recommendations and challenge assumptions.
Preferred
- Experience at an early‑stage or high‑growth consumer brand.
- Prior experience working within a performance marketing agency.
- Experience with UGC creative testing and performance content workflows.
- Familiarity with SMS marketing, loyalty programs, and subscription or replenishment strategies.
- Experience with attribution and reporting tools
Who You Are
- Commercially minded: You understand that the ultimate goal is profitable, sustainable DTC growth, not simply improving individual marketing metrics.
- Technically fluent: You know how the digital marketing ecosystem works and can confidently collaborate with agencies, developers, and technical specialists.
- A strong operator: You bring structure, accountability, and follow‑through to complex cross‑functional initiatives.
- Analytical and curious: You ask thoughtful questions, dig into performance data, and look beyond surface‑level reporting.
- Hands‑on and resourceful: You're comfortable working within a lean, entrepreneurial environment and willing to execute when needed.
- Proactive and accountable: You anticipate needs, identify gaps, and take ownership of driving work forward.
- Collaborative: You enjoy connecting teams and external partners to deliver strong results.
