Qualifications

• PhD or DSW in social work with at least two years post-MS W practice.
• Proven teaching record and scholarly achievement; potential for expedited tenure review.
• Administrative or management experience in a comparable academic setting.
• CSWE-accredited MSW required; Minnesota license or eligibility a Plus.
• Experience with student recruitment and retention; knowledge of accreditation standards.
• Budget oversight and planning experience; ability to guide curricular development.
• Strong communication skills and evidence of shared governance involvement.

Responsibilities

• Teaches graduate doctoral courses and advises doctoral students with reduced teaching load.
• Oversees DSW accreditation and program assessment; coordinates scheduling with the SSW Chair.
• Develops and revises curriculum; manages program budget and resources.
• Represents the program to internal and external stakeholders; leads strategic communications.
• Guides hiring, onboarding, and annual evaluations for adjunct faculty and staff.
• Supports recruitment efforts and informational sessions for prospective doctoral students.
