Job summary

Jarc is hiring Weekend Caregivers to support residents in their homes and communities. The role is weekends-only with shifts on Saturdays and Sundays across multiple locations in Michigan. Starting pay is $13.80 per hour, with potential raise up to $17.13 after full training.

Must have a high school diploma and a valid driver's license, and prior care experience is a plus. Responsibilities include providing companionship, documenting notes, and driving clients to appointments while maintaining

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Current and valid driver's license.
• 1-2 years' experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Experience in home care or hospital setting preferred.
• Ability to stay calm in a stressful environment.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide person’s served within assigned house with assistance, companionship, and comfort as needed.
• Drive person’s served to/from errands, appointments, or events in a Jarc vehicle.
• Document all daily notes, medications, and other required documentation in a timely manner.
• Communicate appropriately with person’s served, staff, and house managers.
• Maintain communication around work schedule and hours.

These will be provided as part of training.
