But even if you have no experience, that’s okay. We need people who care about others and have the desire to make a difference in someone’s life. We will provide the training you will need, just bring patience, understanding, compassion, trustworthiness, ambition, and fun!**Responsibilities include**:* Assists members with daily activities-whatever they need help with, you help them.* Socialization-who doesn’t want to have fun at work? Go fishing, bowling, teach crafting, go places, do things, get out there and have a good time.* Personal care-don’t freak out, the level of personal care is different from home to home, but if you needed someone to help you in the shower who would you want to be there?* Habilitation - this means you will be teaching the members how to do everything they need to know to be as independent as possible. Much of this is teaching by example. If you can’t set a good example this might not be the job for you.* Housekeeping - we all do our part to help the members keep their homes clean and tidy.* Healthcare - we make sure everyone is healthy and safe, this includes following all medical plans, preparing healthy meals, administering medications, attending doctor’s appointments, and documenting each visit.* Communication is the key- it’s important that you are able to maintain good communication between staff members, supervisors, and the members we care for.* Be reliable and really want to be part of the team.
