Jarc in Bloomfield Hills, MI is seeking Weekend Caregivers for weekend shifts. This part-time, in-home role provides companionship, basic care, and support to residents in their homes and communities. Starting pay is $13.80/hour with potential increase to $17.13/hour after training.

Ideal candidates are reliable, patient, and capable of working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Locations include Bloomfield Hills and nearby areas; work weekends Sat/Sun with various shifts.

Formación

• High School Diploma required.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• 1–2 years' experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Experience in a home care or hospital setting preferred.
• Ability to stay calm in a stressful environment.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Time-management.
• Willingness to work with people of different backgrounds, experience level, and abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide person’s served within assigned house with assistance, companionship, and comfort as needed
• Comply with all OCHN and Jarc standards and requirements (more below)
• Ensure the care of person’s served complies with the standards and requirements of all accrediting, licensing, and contractual bodies.
• Drive person’s served to/from errands, appointments, or events – in a Jarc vehicle.
• Document all daily notes, medications, and other required documentation in an appropriate and timely manner.
• Communicate appropriately with person’s served, staff, and house managers.
• Maintain communication around work schedule and hours.
• Basic meal preparation and light cleaning.

Weekends Only:Saturday/Sundays: 7-3pm, 3-11pm, and 11pm- 7am

Responsibilities

Working at Jarc

All Jarc employeesare required topass a background check,sign a TB authorization form, and providea physical.

Additionally, DSPs willbe requiredto have an active CPR/First Aid Certification,Medication Training, andadditionaltrainingsrequired by the state and other entities. These will be provided as part oftraining.
