Job summary

The Direct Support Professional V, Home Supervisor at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission oversees daily operations, coordinates DSPs, and ensures high-quality care at the San Antonio State Supported Living Center. This role requires leadership, scheduling, training, and compliance with health, safety, and treatment plans, with shifts including evenings and nights; telework is not available.

You will report to the Unit Director and participate in ongoing quality improvement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Two (2) years’ experience with people with developmental or physical disabilities is required.
• Experience as DSP or supervisor is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and delivery of services on the home.
• Schedule staff to ensure adequate supervision and coverage.
• Train, coach, and evaluate DSP staff; monitor time and attendance in CAPPS.
