Job summary

Home Sweet Home Care is seeking a compassionate DSP Team Lead to provide leadership and direct support at the Taylor Street Group Home in Fredericksburg, VA. You will ensure person-centered services, regulatory compliance, and health and safety of residents, acting as the on-site liaison between staff and agency leadership.

The role blends hands-on direct support with leadership duties, including onboarding and coaching of DSP staff, and ensuring ISP goals are pursued through community

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Acceptable Driving Record.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Ability to work independently while leading and supporting a team.
• DSP Certification preferred.
• CPR / First Aid Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direct support services to individuals with IDD.
• Lead assigned shifts and direct DSP staff.
• Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and support.
• Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and staff accountability.
• Ensure services delivered per ISP requirements and regulatory standards.
• Report concerns, incidents, and compliance issues to leadership.
• Onboard and mentor new staff.
• Review daily progress notes for accuracy and reflect ISP goals.
