Job summary

A New Beginning-Genesis 2 is seeking a Lead, Software Engineer – DSP to drive design and development of real-time embedded software for digital communications. You will lead a cross-functional team through requirements, design, simulation, implementation, testing, and documentation within an Agile Scrum environment.

The role emphasizes waveform design, DSP for communications, and expertise with embedded C/C++, MATLAB, and FPGA collaboration.

Qualifications

9+ years of real-time embedded software in C/C++.
Graduate degree with 7+ years of related experience; or 13+ years without degree.
Experience leading cross-functional software teams.
DSP waveform design and DSP for digital communications experience.
Agile Scrum and DevOps experience desired.
Experience with FPGA design, development, and testing.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional team through all phases of the software lifecycle.
Design, develop, modify and evaluate embedded software for communications systems.
Implement software in Agile Scrum framework and drive quality and reliability.
Coordinate with hardware, test, and product management to deliver high-quality radio products.
Translate customer requirements into total system solutions balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
