The role blends hands-on leadership with architecture, MATLAB and C/C++, Agile Scrum, and cross-functional collaboration across software, hardware, testing, and product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline with 9+ years of experience.
• Graduate degree with 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Hands-on embedded C/C++ and real-time DSP experience.
• Experience designing digital communications waveforms and MATLAB proficiency.
• Leadership of collaborative software development and rigorous verification.
• Strong requirements, design, integration and verification skills.
• Knowledge of RTOS, multicore systems, Agile Scrum, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full software lifecycle from requirements through testing.

Are you a hands-on software engineering leader with deep expertise in digital signal processing, waveform design, and embedded C/C++?

This is an opportunity to lead cross-functional engineering efforts developing advanced real-time digital communications solutions while remaining technically involved throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

You’ll help shape next-generation radio communications technology, solve complex signal-processing challenges, and collaborate with experienced engineers across software, hardware, testing, and product development.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirements through integration and testing


• Design, develop, simulate, and implement DSP algorithms for digital communications


• Drive waveform design and signal-processing software development


• Develop embedded software using C/C++ and MATLAB


• Perform system requirements analysis, conceptual design, trade studies, and technical evaluations


• Lead software architecture, detailed design, implementation, testing, and documentation


• Collaborate with electrical engineers to integrate hardware and software systems


• Develop software test procedures and ensure high-quality product delivery


• Partner with manufacturing, test, product, and program management teams

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline with 9+ years of relevant experience


• Alternatively, a graduate degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience


• Strong hands‑on experience with embedded C/C++


• Demonstrated expertise in Digital Signal Processing (DSP)


• Experience designing or implementing digital communication waveforms


• Proficiency with MATLAB and DSP simulation/analysis


• Experience leading collaborative software development and testing efforts


• Strong understanding of software requirements, design, integration, and verification


• Real‑time embedded software and communications systems


• Multithreaded, multicore programming and real‑time operating systems


• Agile Scrum and DevOps‑based development


• FPGA design, development, and test collaboration


• Radio communications and IP networking


• Hardware schematics, circuit designs, and datasheets
