Job summary

The Arc of Opportunity in North Central Massachusetts is seeking Direct Support Professionals-Relief to support individuals with developmental disabilities in residential programs. The role focuses on dignity, independence, and person-centered care within our long-standing mission.

Pay starts at $20.29/hour (without MAP Certification) and increases to $21.33/hour with MAP Certification. Flexible scheduling and a supportive team environment are highlighted in this community-driven role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with transfers.
• Ability to pass background checks and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver service standards with residential managers and DSPs in compliance with regulations.
• Advocate for individuals and implement Individual Support Plans.
• Assist participants with personal care tasks as needed.
• Handle light to medium maintenance tasks in the residential setting.
