Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Monroe, NC to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. DSPs assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

Responsibilities include building relationships, supporting daily tasks, and facilitating learning, with ongoing training and development. Full-time and part-time opportunities exist with weekly pay and a $1,000 signing bonus.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
Assist with daily living activities such as meals, hygiene, and household tasks.
Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
Encourage independence and development of new skills.
Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
Communicate with Abound Health team, families, and case managers as needed.
Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
Complete ongoing training and professional development.
