Sunbreak Society is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in the Prineville area. You will promote independence, safety, and quality of life while following care plans and collaborating with families and healthcare teams.

We offer multiple shifts (full-time and part-time), a supportive environment, training, and opportunities for growth in Central Oregon. A valid license may be required depending on position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in direct care, healthcare, or a similar field is a plus, but not required.
• Must be patient, empathetic, and passionate about helping others.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
• Must pass background check.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for certain positions.

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) 1 to join our team. As a DSP, you will provide essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities or other special needs, promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for those in your care. This position requires a strong commitment to ensuring the well-being, safety, and empowerment of those you serve.

Locations:

Sunbreak actively serves clients across across the Central Oregon region (Deschutes and Crook Counties) which continues to expand based on individuals served. We are needing to fill multiple DSP positions to meet CURRENT client support needs in the Prineville area, for both FULL and PART-TIME positions.
