Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission seeks a DSP IV - Campus/Shift Coordinator at the Lufkin State Supported Living Center. This on-site role manages campus activities, coordinates shift staffing, and ensures resident care and safety across multiple homes.

The position requires a state license, the ability to drive a state vehicle, and availability for day shifts with potential evening/weekend work. This is a regular, full-time role with comprehensive HHSC benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years’ experience with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• Valid Texas driver’s license or ability to obtain it within 90 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct care scheduling and supervision to ensure adequate staff coverage.
• Coordinate activities and monitor facilities to maintain safety and quality of care.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents; document issues and communicate with administration.
