Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network in Pasadena, CA seeks a Direct Support Professional II (DSP2) to assist adults with developmental disabilities in daily living at an EBSH home. You will support dietary, hygiene, grooming, and dressing, and help engage clients through activities.

The role requires DSP1 and DSP2 certificates, CPR/First Aid, CPI, and a valid CA driver’s license; RBT certification within 6 months is available. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must have DSP 1 & DSP 2 certificates.
• RBT must be completed within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or related needs.
• Must have a valid in-state driver’s license and be 21+ with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Outline and prepare daily routines for clients as written in their plan.
• Assist with bathroom needs.
• Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing when needed.
• Prepare daily meals and assist with cleanup.
• Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans if necessary.
