Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network in Apple Valley, CA is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP 1 & 2) to assist adults with developmental disabilities. The role includes daily living support, meal prep, hygiene, dressing, and safe transportation as needed.

The position offers full-time AM and PM shifts and an hourly rate of $17.50. We value compassionate care, teamwork, and the ability to implement individual plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with CPR/First Aid and CPI.
• DSP 1 & 2 certification or equivalent; RBT training within 12 months.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with daily living including dietary, hygiene, grooming and dressing.
• Redirect behaviors through activities such as walking, reading, games, math and computer projects.
• Outline and prepare daily routines per Individual Program Plan.
• Assist with bathroom needs and clothing changes when needed.
• Prepare daily meals and assist with cleanup.
• Pickup/drop-off clients in company vans when necessary.
