Rise Inc in Surprise, AZ is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional for the HBCS program to assist individuals with disabilities at home and in the community.

You will help with daily tasks, support behavioral needs, and coordinate safe transportation when needed; the role offers flexible hours and hands-on service experience with competitive pay.

Competenze

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must have verbal and written communication skills adequate to the job.
• Background checks: Arizona Central Registry, Adult Protective Services and fingerprint clearance.
• Additional language abilities may be required.
• Reliable transportation to the work site and for transporting people, if applicable.
• Access to a telephone.
• Must meet minimum training requirements and renewals as assigned.
• Must be 21+ if required to drive an approved RISE vehicle; pass drug test and hold a valid license.
• If using a personal vehicle, provide current auto insurance meeting minimum policy requirements.

RISE provides services for people with disabilities including residential settings, day programs, employment assistance, managed care, and hourly supports.

We are seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional in our HBCS (Home and Community Based Services) program who are passionate about working with individuals with disabilities located in North Phoenix/Cave Creek area. This includes but not limited to: providing assistance to individuals living on their own by taking them out into the community, assisting with daily in-home tasks, and providing behavioral support. Direct Support Professional hourly rate is $16.15.

Qualifications

• Must have a desire and interest in working with people with disabilities or special needs and demonstrate a knowledge of and respect for cultural differences
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Must have verbal and written communication skills adequate to the specific job
• Must have the ability to successfully pass background check with Arizona Central Registry, Arizona Adult Protective Services and obtain Level One Fingerprint Clearance
• Specific language abilities (other than English) may be required
• Reliable transportation to the work site and for transporting people, if applicable
• Access to a telephone
• Must be able to meet minimum training requirements and complete renewals as assigned
• Must be 21+ if required to drive an approved RISE vehicle; to qualify must pass drug test, maintain a valid driver's license, and submit acceptable driving record
• If personal vehicle is used for transporting people must provide current auto insurance that meet minimum requirements of RISE insurance policies
