Job summary

ViaQuest Healthcare Central is seeking personnel to provide direct care and support for individuals with developmental disabilities in our ICF/Group Homes. The role focuses on fostering independence, safety and choice while delivering compassionate assistance.

The position offers paid training including CPR, First Aid and Medication Administration, a full benefits package for full-time staff, PTO and annual raises. A variety of schedules are available, with referral bonuses too.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record Must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.
• Experience in the field of developmental disabilities or direct care is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
• Administering site training to new hires.
• Assisting with shift coverage as needed.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
