Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Williamstown, NJ. The role includes assisting with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

We offer flexible schedules, weekly pay, paid onboarding and training, and opportunities for advancement. A $1,000 signing bonus is paid in installments when averaging 20+ hours/week.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties (case managers, etc.) as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintaining schedules.
• Complete ongoing training and professional development.
