Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will work one-on-one with individuals following each person’s ISP.

We offer flexible hours, local New Jersey cases, and a supportive team that helps DSPs succeed. This role focuses on promoting independence, daily living skills, and meaningful community engagement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willing to obtain upon hire.
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community‑based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
