Arkansas Center for Independence is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to help adults with developmental disabilities live as independently as possible, promoting dignity, choice, and community inclusion. You will assist with daily living activities, support medication routines, teach life skills, and participate in recreational and community activities while ensuring safety.

Paid training and a supportive team environment are offered; you must be at least 21, have a high school

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Arkansas driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Responsabilités

• Assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal care, meal prep, housekeeping and laundry.
• Support medication routines and follow care plans.
• Encourage independence by teaching life skills and promoting growth.
