Job summary

Apploi is seeking Direct Support Professionals to support adults with developmental disabilities in New Jersey. Positions available for full-time, part-time, and weekends with evening hours from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. initially for two weeks, then 2:30–6:30 p.m.

for three days weekly. Pay ranges from $17 to $24 per hour. Responsibilities include helping individuals learn skills, promoting community involvement, building positive relationships, and ensuring safety per each person’s plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required; no provisional licenses.
• Prior experience in DSP field preferred; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in learning skills to live the lives they choose.
• Involve individuals in the community and foster inclusion.
• Support positive relationships with people in their community.
• Create positive moments in the individuals' environment.
• Maintain safety according to each person’s service plan.

looking for someone from 2:30p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday to Friday for 2 weeks. After the two weeks, the hours are from 2:30-6:30 p.m. for 3 days a week.

Direct Support Professional Job Duties and Responsibilities
