Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Hanover, PA area. You will provide direct care, assist with daily living activities, and support community engagement to help individuals live safely and independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Reliable personal vehicle available for work-related transportation.

Responsibilities

Pay Rate: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Hanover, PA area. As a DSP, you will play a vital role in helping individuals live safely, independently, and meaningfully within their communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals in their homes and community settings
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
• Support individuals with community engagement, recreation, and social activities
• Promote independence while maintaining a safe and supportive environment
• Transport clients to appointments, activities, and community outings as needed
• Document services and report any concerns to supervisors according to company policies
• Maintain professional relationships with clients, families, and team members

Qualifications
