Job summary

Apploi in Hazlet, NJ seeks compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living, transportation, meals, and community participation.

This role offers scheduling options including evenings and weekends, CPR/First Aid required, and a chance to help clients achieve independence.

Full-time and part-time positions available with on-site work at one location.

Qualifications

• One year working with individuals with developmental delays.
• GED or High School Diploma.
• Valid Driver’s License and Vehicle.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with individual's day-to-day needs (transportation, bathing, preparing meals, etc.).
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community.
• Help Individuals integrate into the community through various activities (shopping, Special Olympics, movies, etc.).
• Provide encouragement and coaching to individuals who are working to develop daily living skills & healthy habits.
• Document the supports given and activities completed throughout the day.

Kindly Direct Care is seeking MALE and FEMALE DSPs who are reliable, caring and motivated to aide individuals with developmental disabilities attain independence and build better lives for themselves, their families and their community.

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) must be able to provide compassion, understanding, and realization of the individual's dreams.
