Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide home-based care for individuals with developmental disabilities. Training is provided in full, and no prior experience is required.

We offer paid training including CPR/First Aid, a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff, PTO, holiday pay, mileage reimbursement, annual raises, and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid OH driver’s license and car insurance.
• Personal vehicle to transport individuals served.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities; promote independence, choice and empowerment while ensuring health and safety.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of life.
• Completing household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.
• Providing personal care assistance.

Responsibilities may include

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.

• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
